The Native Americans had a wonderful policy of using everything. If they killed an animal, they used as much of it as possible, and were creative in finding purposes for them. I take pictures of my veggie remnants before they go to the compost because I feel that using disgarded veggies as art is a reminder to find creative uses for things. I hope that this blog will remind each viewer to return to a mindset of resourcefulness, creativity, and respect.

Thank you, Alisha, for stopping by my blog and leaving such a wonderful comment! I like your sink art! It's great when we can find beauty in the everyday things we normally take for granted -- even something as simple as watermelons.
Peace.
